Last November, Carousel Motors and Carousel Nissan committed to donating $10,000 to Bras for the Cause to be used for mammograms for women uninsured or under-insured in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area. They partnered with St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids and Mercy Hospital in Iowa City to set up these funds. Early in 2013, Bill Williamson of Carousel Motors and Ken Williamson Jr of Carousel Nissan were able to present checks to these hospitals totaling $11,789.04 ($10,000 from the dealerships and $1,789.04 of donations). The previous year, Carousel Motors and Carousel Nissan, donated $8,300, for a total of $20,089.04 funded for the free mammogram funds.
