2013 Nissan LEAF: Improved efficiency, Faster Charge, and More Affordable
“With nearly 50,000 LEAFs on the road globally, we are the leaders in zero emissions vehicles and our class-leading product just got better,” said Billy Hayes, Global vice president of LEAF sales for Nissan. The 2013 LEAF is the 3rd model year of the world’s best-selling pure electric car with numerous customer-focused upgrades. Now available in three models, the LEAF S, the LEAF SV, and the LEAF SL, the LEAF is more accessible for more people.
The all-new LEAF S is the lowest priced five seat electric car sold in the United States with a starting price at $28,800, this is an 18% ($6,000) lower price point than earlier models. Depending on location, many customers can order the LEAF S for as low as $18,800 with qualified federal and state tax credits. This added model puts the LEAF in the same price range as gas-powered cars of the same size.
